1. Marketing and Relationship Management.
FreeTreats.co.uk is run by an online marketing company from the UK called Union Jack Digital Ltd. Union Jack Digital Ltd sends marketing emails to opted-in email addresses on behalf of other companies.
By “opted-in”, we mean an address someone has used online or on paper to sign up for a variety of different products (a newsletter, product information, purchase etc) and ticked a box confirming that their contact information may be passed on to third party marketing companies.
FreeTreats.co.uk is an example of this sort of site – in order to enter the competition you are required to provide a valid email address and accept email-marketing communications. You are under no obligation to act on any of these advertisements if you deem them inappropriate or irrelevant, and may unsubscribe at any time (although by doing so you also forfeit your entrance in to all future FreeTreats.co.uk giveaway draws).
Each day that you check the site and re-submit your email address to see if you have won will be recorded and considered a new opt in for your address.
The main purposes to which your data is used outside of the FreeTreats Daily Prize Draws is to allow UNION JACK DIGITAL to provide you with information about goods and services which we think may be of interest to you and/or to maintain any existing relationship those companies and brands may have with you. Such information may be provided by marketing communications or advertising which is tailored to your interests. Your data may also be used in the way described below. Be assured that we use your data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable law relating to privacy.
The marketing communications may be through any/all of the following channels:
– Email marketing
– Postal /Mailing Marketing
– Live Telemarketing
– SMS/MMS Mobile Message Marketing
– Online Digital / Social Media Advertising
Our marketing communications and adverts to you will fall into the following categories:

We maintain the very highest levels of data protection and security with the storage and transfer of your data and will never pass on your contact details to any other companies for their own email marketing purposes. Your details may be used for targeted display advertising. UNION JACK DIGITAL is registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) to ensure that we maintain the highest levels of security and control over your data.

3. General Disclosure.
FreeTreats provides prizes free of charge to our randomly selected Daily Draw winners. These prizes are paid for via income generated from advertising to you and your personal data. On-site adverts, adverts within newsletter emails and direct advertising (SMS, email, postal etc) all generate the income. Without this there would be no prizes and thus no FreeTreats. We are a profitable organisation and not a charity, so the hope is to generate more income than is needed to simply pay for the running of the competition, so as to allow us to expand the competition in the future.
Please be aware that in the unlikely event of Union Jack Digital Ltd or the FreeTreats.co.uk brand being acquired or merged with another entity, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets. If we choose to sell or transfer our assets, we may choose to retain a copy of your information post sale/merger.
You have certain rights in respect of your personal data including the right to request that we correct, block or delete personal data that we hold about you. Please use the CONTACT US page, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or write to us at the following address:
